Jo-Sha Wipes are an invention of necessity. Founder and creator, Shannan Sanchez is a stay-at-home mom who is also a certified yoga instructor. During yoga classes she observed many of her students using borrowed mats week after week without the mats ever being washed, or even wiped down. After looking without success for a natural, convenient, and great smelling way to clean yoga mats, she invented Jo-Sha Wipes. The growing popularity of yoga in America has created a new market for yoga products, which is where Jo-Sha Wipes first found its niche. Yoga Journal recently reported that there are 15 million Americans who practice yoga. That is a lot of traffic on those yoga mats and Jo-Sha Wipes are the perfect way to keep them clean. Shannan is pleased that she has created a product that can be useful to so many different people. Although Shannan keeps busy primarily running the company from home, her favorite and most rewarding job is being a mother.
